To be honest I wasn't really expecting much from these as it was a bit of a impulse order. When they arrived I was surprised to see Honest were NHS approved partner meaning there is plenty of info already available to read up on. There is an impressive list of ingredients and nutritional benefits listed on the box including aiding with diabetic weight loss. I myself am considered to be pre-diabetic and weight loss is something at the forefront of my mind. This is a 7 day pack giving you the option of replacing 3 meals with a shake based alternative. Or you can choose to replace only 1 or 2 meals and make the pack last longer. I decided to go with 1 shake in the morning and then a evening meal. I found that the shake was more than enough to keep me going throughout the day. Usually it's the flavours that let these products down but this was actually one of the first that I actually enjoyed the taste of. I knew I would be ok with the Vanilla but I'm not a fan of strawberry or chocolate flavours in general. Luckily these are mild an inoffensive & I enjoyed all the flavours equally. As with all powder based shakes there is always an element of residue being left behind, but this can mostly be reduced by prolonged mixing and I have certainly had shakes a lot grittier. Weirdly the listing advertises mixing with hot water. I can't imagine having a hot milkshake and mixed mine with cold water and ice cubes. As far as weight loss goes I am still at the beginning of my journey so it's too early to tell if it makes a significant difference, but has proved a effective meal replacement and I don't feel the need to eat anything else throughout the day. My only other concern is at £45 per week it could prove to be quite expensive, so you need to weigh this up against your regular weekly spend.

These are very easy to make and easily manage to replace a meal with this. You could use for breakfast or lunch, whatever you prefer I normally skip breakfast so had these for lunches then a main meal later in the day You can make the shake just with water and I also added frozen fruits and some seeds It’s filling enough and tastes decent. A little bit of artificial taste but not bad at all You get 3 boxes in this so all different flavours

Whilst not cheap, if you are serious about weight loss, this is a great choice. They are a NHS Weight Loss Partner, with good nutrition data, they shakes themselves taste pretty good, and keep the hunger at bay, for me, the best part of the day. Depending on how many meals you substitute, obviously depends on how long a box will last. It's quite pricey, but having something that fills you up, has good nutritional values, and comes from an credible supplier, that is surely going to you stick to a weight loss plan, and that alone has a price tag associated to it. I have tried a few shakes in the past, and this is definitely at the better end of the scale.

I did not use this as part of a meal replacement diet, they were more to supplement protein in addition to regular meals. All 3 flavors were very nice, very similar to what you’d get for milkshakes. I only added milk to it, no water but even with extra liquid, the taste was strong. I could almost not taste any protein powder, not bitter, it was nice and sweet without being overpowering. This is a decent product but still way overpriced.
