I've been using protein powders for a while and decided to give the PhD Nutrition Whey a try in the strawberry flavour. Overall, I'm really impressed with the quality, though it does come at a cost. First, the positives. The flavour is genuinely pleasant. Let's be honest, no protein powder is going to taste like a strawberry milkshake, but this is one of the better ones I've had. It's not overly sweet or artificial and it mixes well with water or milk, leaving no gritty lumps. The protein content is also excellent. At 25g of protein per serving, it's a really solid amount that's perfect for post-workout recovery or just topping up my daily intake. The fact that it's "Informed Protein" also gives you confidence that you're getting a high quality, tested product. The only real downside is the price. It's noticeably more expensive than many other 1kg whey powders on the market. While the quality is clearly there, the higher cost might make it a difficult regular purchase for some. In summary, if you're looking for a good tasting, high protein powder and don't mind paying a bit extra for a premium brand, this is a fantastic option. I'm knocking one star off purely for the price point, but in terms of taste and performance, it's great.

I purchased the PHD Nutrition whey powder in strawberry flavor to increase my protein intake, and it has been a very positive experience so far. The powder mixes smoothly with both water and milk, with very little clumping, which sets it apart from other protein powders I’ve tried in the past. The flavor is pleasantly mild, slightly sweet without being overpowering, which makes it versatile to use. I’ve mixed it not only with water and milk, but also stirred it into yogurt and porridge, and it blended in well without affecting the overall taste. The included scoop makes it easy to measure out consistent portions, and the powder itself has a fine texture that dissolves quickly. For me, this has been an enjoyable and convenient way to add more protein into my daily routine. Doesn't contain a ton of filler ingredients, though slightly more expensive than alternatives, it's a high quality product.

I'm using this as a meal replacement for breakfast or lunch, I'm trying to get more protein in my diet as I've embarked on a program of increasing my level of physical activity. I'm not really a fan of sweet beverages but this one taste surprisingly good given you mix it with water. I have one of those shaker bottles with the little wire ball to mix powders such as this so by default lumps are not a problem for. When I've misplaced the wire ball I just mix the powder into a paste with a little water initially, then add the rest of the volume. Sweet tasting, but nice. The 1kg bag has a 40 day supply at 25g per scoop. I'll judge on whether I buy once the bag is finished after this bag is used.

For few years already i have been using it Phd and its always provides a good quality product. Perfect to drink after or before the gym. Or sometimes like me if want something sweet mix with milk and its like milkshake, really helps if watching your weight and have sweet tooth. From portion you get 25g of protein and just 135 calories so it's decent. The taste is nice and you can feel the chocolate really well. it still has a bit of aftertaste but it's normal with the proteins. It mixes up really well too, can't feel any lumps while drinking it. Overall it is good protein for daily use , if you want to up your intake of protein, and help recovery.

My usual supplier of protein shake provides 99% protein per scoop so I get more servings per kilo of powder for a 25g 'hit', but it requires milk where this uses water but costs more per kilo. It probably balances out costwise overall, but this bag will run out faster. The vanilla flavour is quite good, a pretty accurate rendering of what I know as vanilla. Unfortunately it's a little sickly in the quantity needed for a shake so I think I'll end up mixing it with other flavours from my collection to make it more enjoyable, which wouldn't be the first time that's happened. Objectively it mixes well with no clumps or grit left behind in the shaker at the end, so none's getting wasted. The price is pretty comparable to othe brands allowing for the water/milk offset so overall it's a good effort.
